ABOUT US
One hazy morning of March 1796, a small boat dropped anchor just outside the breakers near a river mouth on the Wollongong coastline. During a not so proficient water refill mission, a sizable wave dislodged the boats anchor and flung it on to the beach. Although undignified, this marked the first authenticated landing in The Illawarra by explorers Bass & Flinders.
Because of that fateful day in 1796, we now all share this magnificent home belonging to the Indigenous Australian’s. And what better place to share a fine drop than Wollongong’s newest wine bar, overlooking the vast ocean blue that brought that small boat ashore in 1796.
